Real Estate Closer

Pay: $65,000.00 – $200,000.00 per year (Base Plus Incentives)

Job description:

A strong background in the real estate/title insurance area of closing processing and client closings will be required. The candidate must have at least two years’ experience processing and closing real estate sale and mortgage transactions. The candidate must excel in providing superior customer service and the ability to manage multiple files/customers. This position is accompanied by a competitive salary and commission incentives. We are interested in Title Closers that will continue to work with our current book of business but must have the desire to acquire more accounts.

Responsibilities:

• Well versed working with closing software. (Softpro)
• Work closely with lenders, attorneys and realtors to assemble, review, organize and prepare all necessary documents needed to close real estate transactions.
• Reads and understands title commitments, and the corresponding requirements and exceptions
• Prepare and complete accurate closing packages in a timely and professional manner
• Coordinates closing actions
• Reviews contracts
• Ensures all required documents needed are available
• Develops positive working relationships with clients and professional partners.
• Review all documents before finalizing a real estate account
• Confer with legal representatives regarding closing transactions.
• Able keep and maintain detailed notes on all actions in case of possible audit.
• Other duties as assigned
• Requirements
• At least 2* years *title/real estate escrow/closing experience (Closer License and Notary License Mandatory)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Detail oriented and professional
• Ability to read and understand title commitments
• Proficiency in preparing necessary documents required for closing
• Working knowledge of basic concepts, terms, practices and procedures of the title insurance industry, escrow and closing process
• Must have experience and expertise in closing both real estate sale and mortgage loan transactions
